What method of heating the metal in order to bend the DC knuckles into the DA specs?
Do you have any alignment specs pre and post modification?

I believe carchitecht is full of it. I tried to bend some civic eg knouckles just to try, and they break. dont do this at home! it is freaking cast iron knuckle, no bending there. if you can repeat this experiment and have sound and safe knuckle, then y6ou can shoot me, because I have 2 broken ones to prove otherwise…
That and if you do manage to bend it you will probably weaken the hell out of them. If you want the 5 lug do it right the first time and call it a day.
Hey I’ll help u but MAN!! talk about it u will spent about $1500 or alot more + the ITR 5-Lug rims or any 5-Lug rims.
check this website out http://technet.ff-squad.com/how-to/5lug.ef-da/
& don’t wast time at the JUNK YARDS u will find nothing.
Yo on this site it didnt say if it was a 32mm or 36mm end? i wanna run a 36 mm end
You can run the 36MM hubs, I’m personally running this set up on my car.
thanks for the info, i’ve read everbody post on this thread but can you tell me how you did your and how much it cost?
The process is the same for either 32mm or 36mm hubs. They will need machining so the hub fits on the DA bearing. My best sugestion is to take your DA spindle to a machine shop along with either 32mm or 36mm hubs and tell them what you want to do.
As for cost I would say everything cost me about $1800 after wheels and new bearing and machine shop labor.
That is not to bad, but, I might be wrong here and correct me if I am, can’t you use the 36mm inner race with the DA wheel bearing. I think I saw that some where, but it has been a while! However the larger wheel bearing will most likely be stronger! I seem to remember doing something like this with a friends CRX a long time ago! It’s all a little hazy now.
Maybe carchitect does a lot of high speed driving in reverse! He also has that conversion that give you 5 gears in reverse, so he need the same size brake all the way around! But no cereal guys, I can not justify the expense of buying ITR 5 lugs for my car. Altho it has been tempting, because of some of the nicest JDM wheels are 5 lug. I guess if I ever stumble over a set Mugen or Spoon wheels for CHEAP I would do it!
wont work, I took it to some one that was very good at machining and machining the hubs was the only way to make it work.
