yes it is coming out really good…
thanks man.
haha…
another one of these threads.
I recall having my thread locked up about this…
You did.
Because you’re a bitch.
[QUOTE=Morasso;1684753]You did.

This coming from you. A bitch about what? I clearly made a thread about it, and people that are too cheap to get a paint job at maaco or earl schieb, comes in and bitching. Tell me whos the bitch there.
I see no logic in doing this.
I guess .J. was right. DA/DB owners are cheap.
And before you say, its DIY work.
You can learn how to spray your car as well. so dont plan on giving me that DIY bullshit.
No one can tell that it’s a roller paint job? Who gives shit, you can tell it’s a shitty paint job. hahahahahhahaahhahahahahahahahahahaha I guess roller paint jobs are for those under 18 that can’t purchase spray paint yet…or else, they would spray bomb their whole car.
ok.ok, NO you CANT tell it was rolled on dumb asses dont come in this thread and flame it is unwanted and im sorry you were not talented enough to do this to your car…
OR to lazy to im sure your the type to pay everyone else to work on your car so STFU…
the thread get deleted because stupid people like you but in and start stuff.

HAHA.
Good one. For all you know I could spray paint and do body work better than you can. Its called having a career. Once you have a steady job that brings in the cheese, then you’ll understand.
Maybe, when I DO have time off from work, then I’ll probably take the time to repaint my car again, this time, modifying a few things. And if I do, I know it wont be a shitty ass roller job. I’d set up a both and have use a proper paint equipment to do so.
So like the rest of the crowd, think before you talk.
No. The thread got deleted because cheap asses like you stand high and mighty after having a roller job.
right…
im doing the roller method and i dont give a shit what anyone says. i plan to learn to spray using a good paint system, but thats too far in the future. By that time i doubt ill have this car anymore. And im not about to pay the same price i payed for the car, for a paint job.
and before someone says Maaco, ive seen local cars come out of there. Id rather paint my car with fingerpaint than let those retards touch anything i own.
right now my stock paint looks like the car was in a fucking sandstorm, so im sure it will look better.
It’ll look better? If you don’t take pride in your car, then why even bother trying to make it look better?

As me not being talented, I don’t know what to say, but you win since you know me and all. HAHAHA, funny thing is I wasn’t a cheap ass and applied some wall paint onto my car. Keep up with the $50 paint jobs, as long as you’re satisfied with it. Don’t even bother posting it up because flamers like me will be all over it. If don’t have the money and it doesn’t need fixing, why even bother wasting more money on it?
I’ll praise your $50 roller paint job method once it gets a shine like this and has some definition. You don’t need to take pictures of a carwith a real paint job at CERTAIN angles to get it to look shiny.
Oh, by the way, I painted this by myself at the age of 17 and I never touched a paint gun in my whole life so don’t pull that DIY shit on me either.
i can take a picture of mine in the sun like that to to make it look the same.
Okay, good for you. Everyone lets stop spending money on real paint jobs and grab a gallon of Rustoleum along with some foam rollers. It’ll look the same, I promise.
i can take a picture of dog shit and make it look good too. but you dont see me doing it…

i remember that. I praise you for that.
Hes trying to make this crap here…
and try to make it worth his while.
But lets not make him too mad, or else he go EMO on us.
But then again, he might be fruity and want attention…
Hahaha, he has the nerve to say INKEDUP’s car looks just like his. ROFL. I’m done with this thread.:excite:
I’ll give you guys props for painting your own car for I know getting it
painted professionally can get quite expensive, for your not just paying for the paint but also the labor.
The paint must flow out very well as it is being applied which spraying makes it easier to do, for the excess paint bounces out and get suspended in the air. Thats why paint booths have a fan to vent out those suspended paint.
Temperature must also be met as the paint dries. I believe that paint cure by oxidation. Cold temp. would cause the paint to dry slowly and can alter the curing process. High temp. can cause the paint to dry fast and can cause the bubbling that you are talking about. You said that your first coat didnt do that right?? and you painted the car outside?? if so, probably by the time you got to the 2nd or 3rd coat, the car is quite hot and also the ground/pavement your car in is emiting heat and causing the surrounding around to be hot.
Spraying can cause excessive usage of paint but it’ll cover faster and much more ground than a roller. This will give make it much easier to have an even paint before it starts to dry, but Im not saying roller can’t make it even, just takes longer to do.
I’m sorry for posting such long narritive message on here…
in the words of Mr. King, “WHY CAN’T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG” (Rodney King that is)
It’s not because how cheap the paint job is. Or what method is used?
It’s the experience that you gain from trying to do it yourself.
