just lowered my car with neuspeed springs (2") with a 55 series tires on a 99gsr rims(shiny alloy ones). Want to know if changing the tires to 50 series would make it look better? Afraid that the wheel gap will get bigger. Any suggestions on whats the best tire size for my rim?
you’ll either want 195-55-15’s or 205-50-15’s.
personally i think it really depends on the specific brand and model of tire. I really like how my 195-55’s look. Definitely not too much sidewall. But i’ve seen some 195-55’s that are a bit big. And some 205-50’s i’ve seen are a bit too skinny for my tastes, while others look great. Just make sure you don’t get 195-50’s, cause those are really small.
