Are these the same? I am sourcing a used one as mine has taken a crap, and I want to make sure that if I get a tranny off an obo1 g2, that it will work on my obd0 g2.

From what I heard is that all US spec cars the auto trans 91-93 is the same.
I have heard that in 1990 all US cars were 5 speed. Anything older would be a gen 1.
OK so I guess what I am actually asking is for all G2 auto transmissions, are they interchangeable? Being that the model years crossed the obd0 obd1 line mid production?
I just bought a 1990 Automatic DA, so I guess that 5speed rumor is not true?
