This is my 93 RS which use to be my DD for the past 4 years until I purchased a DB2 Jan of 2010 as a new DD.
Car was a stock ls, then built b16 turbo (motor lost compression) then put together a new block for a all motor b16 setup, didn’t like it at all so I decided to throw some boost on top of the all motor setup:D
Old Turbo Setup:shrug: car was decently quick but never got a dyno tune only street tuned and the LS tranny was really killing the car IMO!
Current Turbo Setup
i’m trying out E85 for the 1st time and it’s a stock block b16 with stock rods and ctr pistons, arp headstuds, block guard, built b16 head with skunk2 springs/retainers, crower valves, itr cams, intake ports are port-matched to a AEBS intake mani, stock IM and TB though.
Garrett T3/TO4E 60 trim turbo .63 hotside
custom ramhorn
38mm ebay WG
Greddy Type S bov
3in open downpipe
b16 y1 trans (non-lsd) unsprung ACT 6 puck clutch
12lb competition clutch flywheel
innovative solid race mounts
custom made in-house traction bar via “DG Performance”
some older shots of when I 1st starting modding the car with the stock ls
Suspension consists of…
Tein Basic Coilovers
SKunk2 Gold LCA’s
Revo Technica Camber kit front and rear with adjustable A-arms
wheels were sportmaxx 501’s +38 offset, no hellafag shit here this was back in 06-07 btw;)
Say, what is the name of the turbo manifold that you have on the 4th picture? It is cast iron and I think I have the same one, but the problem with mine is I dont think my T3/T4 will fit because the turbo is up against the block and if I clock the turbo the other way, (I have a full size alluminum radiator) the turbo will be inside the radiator. Was that cast iron manifold made by Treadstone? If so, I may have to get a smaller turbo for it to coexist with my radiator and block set up. BTW nice set up.
i think it was a ebay cast iron manifold, just cut the webbing on your block and it should fit, granted your turbo isn’t some .70 a/r housing on the cold side and since you want to keep a full size radiator that’s ur only option other than purchasing a new turbo.
You’re gen2ls on HT right? Awsome build you got goin’ there and good luck on sat with the new setup  You did say you were tuning with
e85, but i don’t remember seeing anything about your fuel setup, if you don’t mind sharing i’m just curious, I remember your old setup from the older post your turbo da thread, one of my favs

yep i’m GEN2 LS on HT. my fuel setup for now is inline pro 900cc injectors and a walbro 255 in-tank pump. gonna try to stay in the 320-350whp range for a while since the motor is stock. will add a 044 Bosch Inline Pump and Aeromotive Adjustable FPR when I drop the rods and pistons in prob late next summer and shoot for more power!
Blox makes a similar one to that. It does have turbo fitment problems depending on the size. But as he said if you shave off the web part of the motor itll fit in. I also put in an extra gasket between the motor and the manifold to help it gap up a little more. If you have it so that the turbo is flipped on the other side you can still have the full size and fit 2 fans (thin) in.
Looking good so far! Hurry up and get that on the dyno! Mini has been waiting and you don’t want to keep her waiting. OR ELSE!!..

haha thanks! i’m moving as fast as possible, the shop is pretty busy so my car has been down a total of 10 months and at the shop for 3 months so it’s been a long time coming:p i’m so excited I prob won’t even go to sleep tonight lol! don’t mean to keep you waiting Mini haha.
talk about deva vu. I currently have a 93LS as a daily driver. Which eventually will be turboed once the finances settle down. There is a turbo motor in the garage waiting to be put in. I picked up a milano red DB2, paint isn’t as nice as yours, as my future daily driver (only 142k miles).
Sweet traction bar. Can’t wait to see what kind of numbers she will be putting down.
final numbers! I was def happy! car doesn’t have headlights at the moment and by the time tuning was over, it was dark. Could only use the street lights within the range of the shop to see, was able to get on it 1st and 2nd gear, car has crazy response, no lag pretty much car hauls ass can’t wait to pick it up next week:) Def not bad for the lil 1.6 that could.
9psi falling to 8psi by redline. e85 ftw!! Big thumbs up to DG Performance and J Mills my tuner he is the best I swear!
Sweeeet! good job man:up: deff good #'s with 8-9 psi  if you have studs on it i’d say you can DD 10-12psi no prob, but then again, i’ve blown my shit up more than once, haha…e85, FTW!!! :gunright:
you talking bout headstuds? on 10-12psi with the way it was gaining power I wouldn’t be surprised if it hit 400whp on 12psi. the basline pull only had 9 degrees of timing in it @ 266whp, added 3 degrees and with 12 degrees timing power jumped from 266whp to 316whp without messing with anything else. crazy!!! crazy!!! e85 burns SO clean, plugs have no signs of DET, i love this stuff.
wow, really good numbers. I would want to see that tq curve smoothed out a little bit, but that’s definitely nothing to to concerned with.
I sent you an email, any kind of info I can get from it would greatly be appreciated:up:
thanks man! yeah my tuner has to take the car on the street and do a lil clean up all around the chart for the afr’s and check over it all. wish I had a boost controller i’m sure the car could have made 360-380ish easy on 10-12psi range. btw send ur question to my other e-mail… wangantsi@yahoo.com
