Despite the difference between OBD1 and OBD0 are the Alternators the same?
Thanks
Both are round plug I think
Both are the same
if i recall correctly, i think the 92-93 are rated at a higher amperage. but i could be wrong on that
I know vtec distributors are also rated slightly higher… I want to say 5A higher?
So despite the amperage they will interchange?
yup
They will bolt up to the car. But the pulley and cabling are not the same you can change the pulley from one to the other but you will need to rewire plug that goes to the alternator to make it work.
Just a follow up.
90-91 integra alternators work perfect on 92-93 models.
bolts on perfect, plugs in perfect and operates perfect.
The amperage are also the same. however they do have different part numbers.
hmmm. must be different manufacturers for 92-93. reason for the different part#
From what I understand, all 90-93 Integra alternators are made by Nippondenso (Denso).
wonder what the difference is then
Probably just the exact componants inside the alternater… parts availability or design etc.
