aren’t the distributors different too? or at least, aren’t the 92-93’s distributors better? i know that most people with the 90-91’s have problems with theirs…my deal was that the screw holding my rotor in place would vibrate outta place and come out and lay in my cap…my car would just like literally die while going down highways…only happened twice…first time we thought it was the cam seal, cause it was actin weird, which was something else altoghther, or my cat was cloged, but after we tore everything apart in cogo’s parking lot, we figured out what it was…second time i was by myself and my car broke down in the middle of a state highway in a crossover…let me tell you how much fun it was sitting there with my hood up fixing that with trucks and everything coming close to hittin ya. i went home after i fixed it and sealed it with that screw tight stuff. no problems since (knock on wood)

actually, the 92-93 distributors had problems of their own, too. they were even recalled at one point by acura because there were too many premature failures reported. a bad cam seal won’t have any ill effects on the distributor itself, though it will leave a mess on your motor and tranny block.
yeah i know the cam seal would have no effect on the distributor…we thought it was that at one point cause when we would try to turn the car over it would move in and out a lot. it was after we figured out that it wasn’t that, that we figured out it was the rotor screw.

92 gsrs had no leather. the 93’s had the option
so by swapping 91 cams for 92 cams…will i gain 10hp? if i’m using 91 manifolds?

I doubt it. Probably need the '92 manifolds and the computer (obd1, shucks). but who knows, if its cheap, try it.

i have power locks, windows, ac ,cruise, and power sunroof in my 92 GS, matching mirrors and not matching rubber sides, i still have the receipt from the dealer and color matched sides were not an option and color matched mirrors and abs system was standard on all 92 gs models according to acura, although the ac was option.
I have seen 92 gsr with leather

GS and LS only i believe, but then i will prolly be wrong since acura isnt standard with their options
RS have the slider for air control, LS and GS have buttons…
my 92 LS had power sunroof, power doors, power mirrors, A/C, the four spoke steering wheel, cruise, no ABS:read:
I believe the 90 teg had no power options and my ls didn’t have color matched side view mirrors.
My 90 GS has power windows.

re:90’s dont have A emblems, and they are the only ones with the Integra sticker between the tail lights.
–WRONG…I have a 90 GS and it does have a A emblem on the back…Now i do know that most 90 integs did not come with a front emblem…

are you the original owner? My '90 had one put on the back put on by its second owner (meeee)
paz92ls, the 92 GS-R’s did have the option for leather, my buddy has a GS-R and it came with factory leather. He is actually part of g2ic but he doesn’t visit very often. You can tell if it’s truly from the factory by looking to see if the door panels are leather as well.
I dont think Acura even came out with the A emblem until 91. I’m guessing for when the 2nd gen legends came out. My car doesnt have the A symbol anywhere on or in the car (except the shift knob, but I made that). So integster, yours might be aftermarket. Is the emblem see through (you know, you can see the paint through it)? Or does it have another color behind the A?
