First off, credit to DA9vid for showing me this. I’m just creating this thread so it will come up easier in searches.
Ever wondered where to tap into in your DA to get power for accessories like Autometer gauges, V-AFCs, etc.
The follow diagram will show you. This is the top of your fuse box located in the driver’s side kick panel.
Now you don’t need to cut wire or use t-taps. Just crimp or solder a female quick connect on to your wire and plug it in.

are those leads linked to any fuses in the kick panel? if so whatich ones?

Not that I recall. I put an ATO fuse holder on any power lines I run.
i used this to fix my radio. it was all screwed up but basically, it got spliced into the acc wire next to the ignition adn thats how my radio was getting power.
the only downside, when i turn on the front wipers the radio turns off and i could have it up to loud or else it would flicker with the bass and turn off…
but i got one of those fuse-in-a-wire things and hooked it up to number 3 and problem solved…

there is a fuse that would blow using terminal 3 its the radio one. i wired my fan this way for a short time and it blew once did the trick before i fixed it the right way
