Do they have a headlight chime? because mine doesnt. i know i have a seat belt one, but i dont think i have a headlight or key chime.
at one point in time you did.
Warning chimes are controlled by the ICU, it could be on its way out.
Do the intermittent wipers, rear window defog and front side markers all work properly?:stare:94
Yea, everything in my car works very well. except the drivers side seat belt doesnt recognize that ive plugged in the lap belt. and it chimes at me and my light stays on. i just dont seem to have a headlight chime.
sorry to thread jack but my 90 has a chime with key in sometimes, sometimes not, all the time with lights. rear defroster doesn’t work, intermittin wipers just go the same as when on low. unplugged my seatbelt controller do to a power drain. so i guess i have all the signs its going but my side markers work fine. does it control anything else, and maybe my seatbelt power drain is from the icu but with the s/b controller unplugged it went away.
It definitely sounds like you both have an ICU problem, very common on older Honda/Acuras.
DCAteg check and make sure your seat belts electrical connector is plugged in properly.94
So, i should just resolder my icu leads. or go buy a new one.
They are all plugged in correctly, for sure.
There is a teg tip for repairing the ICU, it involves replacing a cap that is blown, if that’s your problem, otherwise just replace it. 94
Found out what it was. my door switches that tell when the door is open and the dome light to come on were stuck on the inside. i pulled them and cleaned.
Now i have a light that comes on and tells me when my door is open and i got a key in ign. chime and headlight chime :excite:
