Timing belt went out on me on the freeway. No signs of metal hitting or anything. I bought a new timing belt and the car starts but doesn’t want to stay running. The timing is a little off on the crank side so this weekend I am going to get some help on the time and see if the car starts and runs. If so then great. IF NOT then the head has to be pulled and looked at for valves. I can do all the work so it’s not a big deal. The guy that did it before it was only $225.00 to do it. The gasket is $100 and then just time to slap it all together + a gasket for the intake mani. Any ways it’s not that much to fix it and I can help or do it if that’s what it takes to make the sale.
