90 Integra stalls after warm up

After approx 15 mins of driving car stalls and will not start again for several hours. When I try to start it turns over normally but no sign of igniition catching. I checked the coil and it is within resistance spec no burn marks or signs of damage.

igniter?

They do tend to go bad and this is frequently a first sign. The trick is trying to test the damn things because when it first starts to happen, it will be within spec when at room temperature… I would suggest getting one from a place with a liberal return policy in case it doesn’t fix the problem.

Try the main relay under the dash on driver side.

The main relays do go bad in these cars, but if it starts fine when the car is cold, chances are it is not the main relay. Plus, if you hear your fuel pump prime before starting, that isn’t it.

When the relays cold it works fine, when it gets warm it fails. My monies on this.

yea, they both tend to fail when hot. simple way to know is do like buymysoul said, listen for the prime

Looking at rockauto.com…There is a fuel cutoff, multipurpose and fuel injection relay and a bunch of others but no “MAIN relay”. Which one is it?
