91 Integra GS wont start cel code 43

my 91 integra gs wont start it. it cranks and tries to start for a second but will never start. my ecu is throwing a code 43(fuel system). i have done tons of research on this code but nothing ive done has worked. i have replaced fuel pump, fuel relay, fuel filter, plugs, plug wires, timing belt, distributor, fuel pressure regulator, O2 sensor, and a new ecu. the fuel pump used to not prime but the new ecu fixed that. Last thing left that i can think of trying is replacing fuel injector system(resister box, fuel rail, injectors, ect.) but i dont know if thats going to work either.

Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this? Any suggestions will help, thank you.

Check the ground at the thermostat housing.

Checked all grounds, theyre good.

Could be main relay cutting off fuel.

already replaced that. any other ideas?

sooo silly question here. you did actually confirm that this is a fueling issue? if so, how did you confirm?

I have compression and spark. And originally fuel pump wouldn’t prime. And code 43 is a fuel system problem.

don’t worry about code 43. it is extremely vague. there is no fuel pressure monitoring in these systems. the ecm is easily fooled with early obd.
start with the basics. check for fuel pressure. do the spark plugs have fuel on them after cranking?

What exactly is happening? As soon as the car turns on you get code 43?

What O2 sensor did you buy? Get a NGK (NTK) sensor if you got Denso or Bosch. Check the voltage at the injector plugs and make sure they are on tight.
Check the alternator solenoid fuse (I believe fuse #24) under the dash and see if it’s blown.

Do you guys know what the fuel pressure psi is supposed to be at? Mine is between 20 and 30. And my 24 fuse is perfect.

Yes and I was able to fix the fuel pressure. Ive also found the car will start when the engine is cold. I can rev it in neutral as much as I want but as soon as I drive it, it bogs down and dies and will not start back up.

try disconnecting the o2 sensor. see what happens

USe this flow chart to check things out with a multimeter.
try disconnecting the o2 sensor. see what happens
nothing changed im thinking it could be my temperature sending unit.

http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2881049
thanks for the suggestion but ive already done that.

Sounds a little like the problem I had. Not sure exactly what the problem was, change coil, cap, rotor, plugs, and filter, turned out I put the plugs on the wrong way on the cap. If you went by the letter on the cap as the #1 plug, same thing I did, it may be wrong, the cap I bought had the A on the #4 plug, so mine was set as…
