SO a while back i purchased a 91 Integra GS.
Single owner 123/xxx
Stock b18a1 , Stock Clutch etc etc
Ended up “needing a radiator, because the bottom had cracked” which i was told by the shop who had purchased it from the salvation army auction the original owner had donated it too.
replaced that , and what do you know, coolant is pressuring in the overflow tank, wouldnt crank over and start. did a compression test, and cyl 2/3 were low comp. you know what that means.
sooo i replaced the headgasket put in some ARP studs :rockon: , put new oil and and she started up and idled fine.
i wanted to post my step by step but i never got to so i plan to post some progress pictures of along the way and maybe in the future to do the same.
Getting ready for primer.
After Paint, there is some small paint runs on the driver side door, luckily my girlfriends father owns a body shop so i get the luxury of not paying for labor, and he gives me his price on paint.
Needs some TLC in the engine bay.
Deleted the washer fluid and cruise control.
crappy alarm getting removed, my plans are to upgrade to a viper system.
Installed a Prelude 4ws wheel, looks and feels fine, my girlfriend ended up getting my the center H emblem as a surprise gift.
Notice how much this car has been driven… NOT
Even the emblem says “4 Wheel Steering System” , even though my integra doesnt have that.
Interior shot, dont mind the missing shift boot, getting my girlfriend to wrap it with fabric.
