91 integra with b16 ..need help !!!

Some problems with my DA…it has a b16 swap obd0. Well my problem is that when I am
Cruising on the freeway it feels like it jerks between 3k and 3500k rpms if I give it gas it will go away. If I let it go w/o going wide open throttle it will continue to jerk for a while and all of a sudden it will be fine, and after it will come back again. Note this only happens when I drive long distances around the city it will not do it, I’ve changed complete distributor , map sensor , fuel filter, and spark plugs. Anyone help me out??

I’ve searched but everything seems to just say change distributor n map sensor which was done already, this problem I really irritating now and would like it to be fixed…

I used to have the same issue before and after my swap. I replaced all the engine sensors with new ones that came with the swap.
Also new distributor, ecu, harness, fuel rail, injectors, filter, main relay, igniter, coil.

I did notice that it stopped after I changed the throttle cable and bracket to.the type r.

sweep your tps. make sure that voltage rises smoothly and accordingly

I just ordered a tps n o2 sensor . I should have it done this week hopefully.

My o2 sensor wasn’t even active with my chipped ecu and it still did it, even checked the voltage on the tps to spec.
Only thing I can think of would be the fuel pump, it’s the one thing I never checked or tested.

Check spark plus wires?

Yeah I recently changed my ngk spark plugs for new ones and it seemed to kinda get better but problem is still there, the spark plug wires that are there are ngk and were changed I wanna say les than 20k ago…

I kinda had the same problem I replaced 02 sensor and spark plus wires

@iloveda9…where you get your tps sensor…I need one for my skunk2 throttle body…

Sounds like a worn tps or you need a advanced map sensor or a tune

I work at oreilly auto parts so i got it there.

Were would I get an " advance map sensor"?

i guees you would have to use 94 and up integra mad sensor which on a t/b just extend the wires to it i have done it and use a omni power mad sensor cost alot of money for them joint but it was worth it i say to to check the throttle cable too since these cables are like 20 years old on these da might get strech out a bit upgrade to the itr cable one with bracket or a gsr one like i have on my car just FYI i have a gsr throttle body with bracket and mad sensor on it all you need is a new throttle cable on it and t/b gasket lol lmk

Lol thanks foe the help Acura_madness for the help bu if I were to replace those part I would just buy them new as I work at an auto parts store. How ever I did recently swapped my ecu for a chipped one (pr3) and car rubs great. I took it on a 140 mile round trip and the jerking/ hesitation between those rpms wasn’t there at all.

then its deffinatly something in your tune.
