92-93 fuel filter the same as 90-91 fuel filter?

Is the 92-93 fuel filter the same as 90-91 fuel filter?

Trying to buy them at Acuraoemparts but they don’t have the 90-91 fuel filter listed. Quick response appreciated!

i’m pretty sure they are the same. i can’t guarantee, but i can’t see why they would be any different.

Yea they are same, because I just parted out a 92 RS and i have a 91 RS. So I know they are same because i have the used fuel filter in my garage Go for it!

Number 6 dude. I just ordered one like a month ago so I know they have them. My teg is a 90, BTW.

OMG something bothered me about that link.WHY is Hyundai OEM Parts included on bottom of that page.Hyundai thats just lil wierd to me…:umno:

They are Hyundai dealers too, why is that wierd?

Brian, I saw that on the 1990 but if you notice, it only comes with the filter. I need the filter set (including the washers). I was a little weary about ordering that one. I’m afraid I’ll get the wrong stuff. Filter vs. Filter set.

They’re the same price though, which makes me think they’re the same. But I just wasn’t 100% sure at the time. But if they are the same part, then I would think the price would be the same. It just looks like it’s inconsistent.

Yeah, I noticed they didnt have it listed as the set either but when I ordered mine all the nessecary washers and stuff were included in the bag. I just cant recall if I ordered the kit or just the filter though. But since it is a item that needs those peices to be installed and its the same price for the kit as it is for just the filter, I’m willing to bet they are just included. Unless they package some filters with the washers and some without and charge the same, but that wouldnt make any sense. Best bet is to just call them I guess.

But to answer your question yes, 92-93’s are different. I dont know if they are compatible with the 90-91’s or not, but when looking at them side by side there are some visual differences. Where the fuel lines connect to the filter on the 90-91 they are staggered and on the 92-93’s they are even with each other and set back further on the filter. Not sure if that would make a difference but it atleast proves they are indeed different so your better off just going with whatever year your car is.
