My Check Engine Light just recently came on. Can anyone tell me whats the No 1 Cylinder Position means?? I need some help and I would appreciate the help on some details and advice on what I should be doing to make that Check Engine Light turn off. Also my VTEC lags.

Read the 3rd post. It gives you a step by step diagnostic. Something is up with your cylinder position sensor inside the distributor.
if the sensor is bad is shot you are gonna need to replace the distributor regardless of any tests. The CPS is mechanically integrated and not repplaceable itself from what I know.
True but it’s not always the sensor that’s bad that’ll cause the cel. Sometimes it’s just something stupid that isn’t usually checked.

However, on a 20 year old car, a new distributor would not be a bad investment, even if it is not the problem. 94
