First thing that happened was the common cowl leak, that ended up blowing the blower fan, my headlights and the radio fuse… I fixed the leak, blower fan and fuse and was up and running again.
About a week later, I was driving and the car started missing and hardstarting when hot. Let it cool, starts up abut once hot again, misses and jerks bad. Then it wont start at all.
I changed the distributor and it fired up, but died when I came home and since then has never started.
I changed the following…
- Distributor again with one from a working car
- ECU
- Spark plugs/plug wires
I opened the intake, checked for spark, pulled valve cover and checked timing belt, cracked fuel filter bolt and fuel is coming and pump is priming…
Next to check is if the timing belt skipped a tooth, but Im thinking its something electrical. Any ideas or anything in the area of the cowl leak that could gotten damaged?
Any ideas?
