92 motor, 91 transmission, what clutch?

im looking to get an exedy stage 1 clutch… the only problem is. is that it says theres a difference between 90-91 and 92-93. so if im running a 92 b18a1 with a 91 ls tranny. what clutch do i get? for the 92 or 91?

hey u are gona want the 90-91 clutch, it is the small splined transmission, the 92-93 is a larger one. ive actually got one with 3k miles on it ill sell for ALOT cheaper than what yo will probably pay, but if not i may be able to head u toward the cheapest stage 1 exedy i have found on the web. just PM me and let me know either way if your interested.

Correct, you want to buy a clutch that coresponds to your transmission prodution year.

Part #: 08804
Notes: Stage 1 Organic Clutch

thats the part ive got, like i said only 3k miles on it, my 90-91 ls trans snapped something small under the final drive and i lost first and second. so i bought a 92-93 LS trans and had to buy the 92-93 kit. the disk, pressure plate, and release bearing have the miles. the pilot bearing is still new in the plastic i did not use it for either of my kits because i do not have a bearing puller. only thing you will need to buy online is a clutch alignment tool which is only a few dollars. im willing to save you some money if you want to buy from me or not, just let me know and i can give u a link.
