ok so im not really new on here but iv not really posted but i will be putting my big build up on here this year. so quick noob question, can i put manuel doors on my 92 teg rs? i know they bolt up but is there already a plug so i can just plug and play? and be able to use the power windows or do i got to get the harness and the window resistor plug? thanks guy for the help
There is no plug, you would have to transfer everything from a car with power windows

i dont. i got the old manuels off mine but i have my spoon mirrors im putting on it plus i have another set of those cf mirrors that are small, selling those to. hit me up at 530-410-5941 if anyone wants them
yes your going to need evrything from the other car i would take evrything from the fuse box

Just to clarify… Will all the power stuff fit into a door that was originally manual? Like will all the necessary holes be where they should?
see thats a good question because i was told that the power stuff would not work in the manuel doors, thats why i got two complete doors lol. but i swear someone on here has done it that way before
Lol all doors are the same on the inside, the only difference is the harness. I would love to hear the reason why it wouldn’t work
I figured it would probably be the same, I only ask cause I didn’t want to go and get one painted before knowing for sure.
iv heard so many people say they are different because the window tracks are welded on the inside and its diff. i thought i could just change the motor and be good lol. but yesterday i got the whole harness and im gonna make my own out of it to since i only got the wires that go into the door and stuff. but one more question. i noticed that the manuel doors (what i got) the clip is diff and i know its for the speaker but will the new power harness i got have the wires for the speakers and i should be good right?
Lol, you unbolt the tracks… I don’t think the speaker wire would be included with the window motor harness, I could be wrong though. I would leave the original speaker wires in
see i was gonna try that but i noticed the two plugs from manuel to power are completey diff that the plugs go in the door.

Smart-ass-ness aside, the actual structure of the doors should be the same… bolt holes etc etc should be the same. Maybe the window track/regulator is different, but the actual skeleton of the door is going to be the same.
And, naturally the plugs are going to be completely different…
When doing this same swap on say, an eg, you have to have the full door harnesses, AND the cabin harness as its all tied together. At least that’s what I gathered last time I read up on it. It would be nice if Acura used the same harness and just added/deleted wires as needed for cars with auto/manual stuff, but I don’t believe that was the case.
Cross-reference part numbers? That way you don’t have to believe what people online tell you.
thanks man. ya im gonna make my own since i noticed the only diff is that there are very few extra wires that connect to the fuse box. and ill post pics and stuff of how it goes. sorry im at work and have to type this and take phone calls and help customers lol
93whiteteggy dude it is spelled manual, not manuel. I think that is some spanish guy. M A N U A L. Anyway aside from the shit I just gave you, you can build your own harness for power windows assuming your Spoons are power. All you need is the switch, and the harnesses that attach to the mirrors. I built my own harnesses, using the helmes schematic.
