92 tail lights on 90

hey i have a 90 and wondering if i could put some 92 jdm tail lights on them? thanks in advance

Yes, 90-91 and 92-93 Tails are interchangable (sp?)

Be sure to check the gasket on them

yup. and u were pretty close with the spelling. its interchangeable. the only time it kinda doesn’t work is with the db1 (4dr). if u put a 92-93 tail light on a 90-91, and don’t switch the trunk to match u get a funky gap in between the tails n trunk.

yea its all good. i only found out after i had seen my friend’s 91 db1. he had bought 92-93 tails cuz he likes the amber section… problem was after he finished install it and a new gasket, there was a gap in between the top inner corners of the tail lights and the trunk. a decent gap and an easily noticeable one. u could tell that it didn’t quite work. so he had to go searching for a 92-93 db1 trunk afterwards. was a real pain to find.
