Wat up guys im just trying to see if I can open up my 93 4dr integra tailights and take the amber turn signal part out? I know that on the two doors I can but im not sure about the 4drs. Thanxx in advance.
Another thing is that one of my tailights for my DA is cracked. The crack is right under the vent at the corner of the light. Any way to fix that? Ill see if I can post some pics.
The crack is not easily repairable if at all… And the 4 door tail lights come apart the same way as the 2 door… Heat them up (oven i think).
Ive taken apart both 2 door tail lights but havent yet tried the 4 doors I have sitting around. Having seen the inside of many a tailight though, I would have to guess yes you can remove all of the parts just like the 2 doors.

As for the cracked part, well? Yes, it probably can be repaired but it depends on to what extent.
If you want it to be structurally sound just get some good, plastic 2 part epoxy and glue it. If you want it to look good you can sand off the excess glue and polish that part out. It is a decent amount of work especially if you havent polished plastic before, so its almost easier just to get another tail light. $25 or so at the wrecker, you’d spend that just on epoxy and polishes alone. That way you dont feel so bad anyway, when you ruin it finding out “how high is too high” on your oven, using your tail light as a thermometer.

NOTE Try and wear the best dust/canister mask you can find when your heating and working around that glue. That toxic vapor really does a number on your throat, and who knows what else. :uhoh:
4dr tails are done just like 2dr tails.
Use a heat gun, just make sure you don’t do it too close.
Yea i was thinking about doing that epoxy method but didnt know if it would work. As for sanding and polishing I have done that before I did it to my 90-91 tailights and have everything left over exept sand papper. Iv taken apart taillights by using a heat gun and oven but I like the oven method better. But im gonna try doing the cracked one first that way if i ruin it i still got the good one. Doesnt matter though i got them for Free anyways. Thanxx

I did clear out one of them. The plastic needs to be reheated with a heat gun.
