hey this guy offered me a 93 ls head, cams and intake maifold for $70 (it needs a valve job) . will this be a beneficial mod for my 91 ? i thought i heard that this is a 10 hp mod for 91’s …correct? if i got this head i was thinking of shaving some, i heard this is also a good mod for up to 10 hp…so should i get this head and intake manifold for $70 and put some work into it or will it not yield enough hp for me to spend time and money on…thanx for your help
Your call, I would definetly buy it if it didn’t need a valve job, however take it to get it done and you’ll have even more than 10 hp, just at an added expense. Oh yeah you’re right about the 92 and 93’s. They have 10 extra hp from the factory because of this, I highly doubt that is wheel hp, but it’ll make a difference
is it a direct bolt on and what about shaving it for a little higher compression? any thoughts anyone? thanx
