93 Lsvtec

Whats up. This is my 93 Integra. Ive had it for about 5 years now, and i just started modding it earlier this year. I know its not the fastest car, but i like it for what it is. Let me know what you think. B.t.w … dont mind crappy driving

Pr3 head with Skunk 2 stage 1 cams
Blox intake manifold
DC 4-2-1 Headers
Y1 B16 tranny with 13lb flywheel and stage 1 clutch

How high do you rev it (when your getting on it hard)…

in the vid … im revving to about 6.5-7k … when i go to the track tho … ill push it to 7500-8 … and the motor takes it very well believe it or not.

Where is a good place to get that tranny?

i have all the parts to do my LSVTEC sitting in my garage, i’m just too scared i’m gonna blow it up so i’m putting it off :uhoh:

Is your bottom end built at all?

not at all … completely stock … for now. My honest opinion though, if you have time to build one than do it … just take your time, theres no rush right? If you do rush it , you have a greater chance of blwing it. Also, if you build one on a stock block … dont rev past 8, and just TRY to take care of it … i take it to 8 sometimes but not that much. Its a very strong motor. Im happy with it, and i will be building a fully built one in the coming year.

Well I have PR3 pistons, ACL bearings, ARP rod and head bolts.

That’s about the most building i’m going to do…probably going to sell the PR3’s though, that doesn’t really increase the reliability and i’m not adding cams to it so there is really no need for them.

did you already know how to build a ls/vtec or do you learn as you go?

How much did it run you? Im seriously considering saving to go LS/VTEC, just wondering if its worth it.

all in all … i spent just about $3000 … i got very lucky with some parts being cheap though.

do any of u know if a b16 oil pump will fit on the ls block and work the way is sould (better that stock ls, lol)
i got one and on my way to lsvtec. just some questions here and there u know.

yes the b16 oil pump will fit the ls block.If you go ls vtec you will need this.
the ls pump is no good if the engine is spinning 8,000rpm, arp rod bolts are also a must imo.
