i got a sweet deal on a gsr block and the b16a head was sitting in my garage. i know i will lose compression because of the head being different but what will be my compression ? how much hp will i have with this combo if i keep it stock meaning i keep the gsr pistons and the 1st gen b16a head cams? i know this is called the poormans type r engine but how can i make it function like a real type r engine?
One serious thing you would lack is compression. Compression is one of the things that make the ITR motor so powerful. You’ll find a good deal on some ITR pistons here from member Leftcorner.
