just put on my friends 97 ex skirts. a few hours work, but VERY SO worth it. i took pictures of what you need to cut and where, as well as where i recommend you mount everything.
i’ll post pictures tomorrow, goin out to dinner with my girl and i’ve deprived her enough all ready today, haha.
from up close, they definately aren’t show quality, but from 5 feet away they look great, and seeing how my car is about to qualify for historic plates that’s plenty for me.
first…cut the back piece off. this will help it line up in the rear better…
next cut a straight line on top of the side skirt all the way down, cut out the little tabs too…
and what it should look like after…make sure to use a file to clean up all the goombies.
now cut off the front to line it up with the fender…
about this much but measure to fit
i used the stock mud flap hole in the front for the front screw. I made a new hole in the rear, and used double sided tape all the way down. make sure to clean everything up with rubbing alcohol before you use the 3m stuff…
the front doesn’t wanna line up perfectly, I’d recommend using a heat gun or do what i do, drill the hole for the front mud flap hole a little to the right so you have to push it in, so it’s pulling the side skirt flush…if that makes sense.
final product…obviously its at night but yea…
its supposed to snow and be pretty shitty the next few days but if its not you know i’l lbe outside taking pictures! any questions please ask.
i plan on doing the rear lip in the next month so if i do that i’ll take pictures too. good luck gumshoes.
the ek fits better, but I like the 4-door myself. The sideskirts are more flat than the 2-door. I have them on my car now, but you have to cut them good to make them fit.

all ek sideskirts are the same, 2 door 4 door hatch whatever. anyways, im trying this tomorrow
no 4 door are different.

Anyways guys i bought a set yesterday and today i fucked one up, i cut too much from the top part and there is a gap. $50 down the toilet…

i just finished installing my skirts. 
honestly i would’ve rather bought some mugen reps or something to avoid the hassle. anyways mine came off a 99 acura EL, same as the EK sides except they dont flare out as much. i will take some pics as soon as i get my lip.
still have to repaint and adjust them a little more.

Can someone explain this a little more? Looking at the pictures he didn’t use mudflaps, so why the reference to the mud flap hole since the sideskirt just had a screw drilled into it…
