97 EX civic side skirts???

ek sides

here are the steps:

  1. cut the TOP PIECE of the ek side that would go inside the ek door: draw a line from end to end to make it straight
  2. cut all EXTEND AREA PIECE of the bottom of the ek side to make it flesh
  3. line up the ek side from back to front next to the side of the car to see if its flesh: make ur marking to cut the front piece
  4. option: i use the orginal holes on the bottom of the ek sides and drill holes under the car to mount them: and u can also drill new holes to make it stronger
  5. u should be done after these steps…

option rear lip: u could use a 94-95 honda accord rear lip… looks awsome… but the rear lip needs to be moded also…

sorry i dont i traded em for a oem lip but i got other pics that might help the skirts are stil in place

and this one is the most recent doubtu can see them since the pic is kind of dark

here ya go , civic ek side skirts n 94 accord rear lip.

how do you put on a side skirt without a front lip or aftermarket bumper of some sort. It doesnt look right.

What’d you guys use to cut the skirts???

And would someone please post pics of the “where-to-cut” lines for the skirts?

All this talk is confusing the crap outta me.

PICS PLLLEASE!

man i wish i found this earlier, i just got done doing this. i went to the junk yard and found a DA with these on them but one was trashed so i took the good one and found antother one off an ek. got them cheap like 14bucks. one was already cut so i just matched the cuts… insted of cutting the top straight i just put it under the door. its not touching or rubbing fits perfect and makes it look cleaner. the only parts i cut were the inside tabs and about 3 inches off the back. and i took 2 inches off the front to keep my mud flaps. the only problem i found was on the ek the front bends out so i took a heat gun and melted them into shape. i’ll get pics asap

also i used alumin cutters. pretty much big siccsors. also used a file.

can’t wait for the regamasters and paint job!

how do you keep the mudflaps with the sideskirts>?

hey how do you keep your rear mudflaps with the 94 accord rear lip do you run a accord rear mudflap?

definitely look the closest to the mugen replicas.

dc ones are just too rounded off.

i kept my mudflaps by cutting the skirts to the shape of the mudflap and then taking a heat gun to the skirt and melt it towards the car. its kinda hard to explain.

so you are running stock integra rear flaps or accord rear flaps.

i dont have the rear lip so the rear mud flaps wernt a problem.

what year accord are you getting the lips from? when i go to the junk yard they all have the exhaust on the passanger side.

n about the front lip, i havent decide if i sure get the mugen style or the type r.
but im looking to fit the mugen one from the prelude, but im not sure wat to do.

thats the 1994 n 1995 accord rear lip.

what year accord are you getting the lips from? when i go to the junk yard they all have the exhaust on the passanger side.

Just cut the thin middle part of the lip and move it over to the right making an exhaust opening to fit the DA’s exhaust placement… :bowthank:
