Will a 97 ITR header fit my 93 LS without too much trouble?
97 ITR fit 93 LS?
How difficult will it be to make a 97 ITR header fit my 93 LS?
I’m pretty sure that the bolt patterns on the ITR head and the LS head are different. I don’ think it works, but Skunk 2 supposedly makes an ITR replica with the LS bolt pattern. Can someone else confirm this for me?
oops you said header and I read intake, sorry.
It might fit up by the head, but i seriously doubt that the length will be right to meet up perfectly with the cat.
As for bolting on it’s a direct fit. However, I’m not sure if it clears the crossmember.
if it’s a jdm 4 to 1 then you have to modify the crossmember for it to fit. if it’s the usdm it should fit but the length of the downpipe is different and you’ll have to extend the cat or downpipe.
It’s usdm. How much better than stock 93 LS is the ITR header? Comparable to aftermarket?
Performance increase will be next to nothing… the 92-93 manifold is already a fairly decent design.
the itr manifold is better than a 93 ls one…but i would just go with a dc header, that’s what i am running
