Was helping my friend swap a JDM front end on his DC yesterday. For whatever reason, I decided to grab the bumper and held it up to the DB2. Surprisingly it almost lined up, looks like it would only need a tiny bit of fiberglass/bondo work.
Anyone done this or seen it done to a DA? Just the bumper, not the headlights.
i haven’t heard of anything like that…But id like 2 see photo’s when your done…
its been done… my boy did it to his DA a few years ago… unfortunatly i dont have any pics but he said he had to cut the bumper in 3 places to make it fit properly
Post some pic of the bumper holding in place on the DA. Just to give an Idea

just the bumper? or the whole front end conversion ur talking about…ive seen the whole jdm conversion done…its nothing too great.

I too have always been curious on how this would look. I did a quick photoshop of it. I personally like it. I hope the owner of the original pic doesn’t mind that I borrowed the image.
why not use a bumper thats made for the car? lol.

The first picture has the complete front swapped. The other 2 have just the head lights swapped. I want just the bumper.
The thing that would make it weird is the rear bumper would have moldings while the front would be bare.

yea im wondering the same thing…the bumper doesnt really look all that bad at all on the DA…if it fits with minor mods that would be awesome

I’m unsure myself. Depends what I can find a bumper for. Not many shops want to sell the bumper separate from the front end.
I’m gonna take some pictures when I’m working on my buddy’s car tomorrow.
ehhh, i don’t know if i like that, the itr bumper is too rounded for our cars. maybe if the rest of the moldings were shaved or the rear bumper was rounder but as it sits now, i just dont know
