a/c fan doesn't work on 1 & 2 settings

For some reason my control for the fan on the heating/air conitioning, doesn’t come on in the first two possitions. I checked the wiring behind, and it seemed to be fine. Any suggestions?? Thanks

i had the same problem as you. the fix? replace the blower motor resistor.

Mine does not work in the 1 position, but 2 is fine same fix?

yep, same fix. mine did the same exact thing as yours. my 1 did not work, but 2,3,4 worked just fine. replaced the blower motor resistor and all settings work now.

does anyone know how much the resistor is, and does any autostore carry it, or does it have to be from the dealership? Thanks.
