A/C on, Idles hard

After car is warm, it idles at 1,000RPM’s and when I turn on the A/C it goes down to 800 and shakes my steering wheel. I thought the RPM’s where suposed to go up when the A/C gets turned on.

stock idle with EACV valve/IAC connected (no vtec) 750+/- 50 rpm
(vtec) 800+/- 50rpm. Put the idle back to specs and that should help and when the a/c kicks on it’ll bounce up very little then back down. So there for it’ll drop if your idling at 1000rpms when it’s not supposed to idle that high. But within specs it’ll stay the same.

cool man, I check that out, but do you know how to adjust it?

np man. Um on the throttle body you’ll see a screw. It’s a flat head type deal and just turn that to the right to lower the idle. Just follow the red hose going to the throttle body. Anyways here’s a link to help guide you. It has a video and to be honest it’s funny but yet it tells how to adjust the idle.

Yeah sometimes the screw has the glue from the factory if no one has every adjusted it. Just needs to be scrapped off.

 Welcome to the club, have the same issue here and done all I could to it and still no results. At this point, is just part of owning a integra

You might have a vacuum leak then.

thanks for the tip. I’ll try it later today when I get off work

awsome. let me know if it helped.
