A/C only works on low - blows fuse otherwise

I discovered today that my a/c will work if the blower is on LOW. If it’s on anything higher it will blow the CONDENSOR FAN fuse shortly after the clutch engages. I previously thought that it would blow the fuse in any position.

Anyone have any insight as to why it would work in the low setting but no others?

I would check the compressor, as power for condenser fan and A/C compressor clutch are on the same fuse, [along with “Radiator Fan Control Module”] fuse 20 - 15A, hot at all times, in under dash fuse box.

Because it does not blow until compressor clutch engages, I would assume the problem is the compressor the clutch relay or the wiring between the relay and the compressor clutch.:cross:94
