a little update. ;]

so i sold my roll cage, got a roof rack and new wheels.
i have my enkei racing S for sale if anyone is interested.

im getting a new roll cage custom made for my car with SCCA specs.
nothing too crazy here. Yakima board rack and TRmotorsports wheels. 15x7 +25
next few things on the list,
new seats, front lip, and cf jdp hatch lip then either paintjob or pic select/FF typeII coilovers.

Not feeling those stickied up or weird colored lip trend.

Love the rims though… specs on those and how much they weigh?

Is the roof rack for bike use or fo’ show? Please tell it’s for bike use or I’m going to have to kill your dog…

^^Doesn’t look too functional with how it’s setup there. Foot packs aren’t spaced properly plus it’s just holding a skateboard and a scooter it appears.

Wheels look good though.

Why not put the skateboard and scooter in the trunk? I’m sure there is adequate space.

I’m just confused why you’d want a roof rack and a roll cage. Roof racks make sense for a practical daily driver, but a roll cage is dangerous in a daily driver. A roll cage is a great idea for a race car, but there’s no point in having a roof rack on a race car.

as of right now i have the roof rack for daily use. for my skateboards, scooters and my chair. and when summer comes around for my gf surfboard and skimboard, i dont bike so i didnt buy a bike rack.(my car is gutted in the rear so putting my stuff back there wouldnt be a good idea.) and if anyone asks, i gutted the rear for the 4-point roll cage i had in there.
the roll cage is going to be put in in a couple months, since i like to run the local canyons and eventually course racing, etc. i like the roll cage, it helps, but i got rid of my roll cage to go for a bit exterior looks.
my roof rack is used for what its for, not all for form.

im getting a new lip, i broke the lip thats on there now so i painted it, but im getting a new one next month since they dont have any in stock at the moment.

hey loving the car its real clean. what side skirts did you use on your car?

I think you mean roll bar, not cage. A roll bar is going to be significantly safer on the street than a cage.

thanks, they are mugen style side skirts.

the wheel specs are 15x7 +25 i think they weigh like 12lbs or something like that. i forgot. lol

roll bar i suppose then, but im getting a basic 4-point made then eventually move up to a 6-point maybe 8-point. everything is going to be welded in and for a good price.

you know anyone selling any? cuz i got the dc skirts ad im not feeling them. but i got the accord rears like you do and i love those. and how much you selling you old rims for?

the side skirts can be found online, i think they are called “techno r” or something like that, i forgot its been awhile.

just text me at this number about my wheels, talking about it in this section would be against the rules i believe. 951)313-7681

hey well thanks i will defiantly look those up and hopefully find some. was there any cutting to make them fit?

for sure, no the side skirts are made for the car so it goes right on. it just bolts on or screws on at the ends. Takes like 30 minutes to put on.

awesome hopefully i can find some of these.

did a little photoshoot in azusa.
this nikon d5000 does a little bit more justice then my cell phone pics. lol
dont mind the stich, my gf put that there. its her favorite. aha

good pic:up:

Seems odd that putting those items in the rear of the car is not a good idea, but on top of the car, where they are more accessible is a good idea. Unless you are talking about having those items rolling around in the back, in which case more than half of those items could fit behind the front seats where the carpet overlaps to the back. On a side note, it seems like every couple of months you are making a bunch of changes, I have a feeling you will never be done with this project.

Likin it!

yah, they can fit behind my seat but i have stuff there already. my california duster, a few micro fiber rags and my autolock. lol
this car isnt really a project car anymore, i dont know what it is…
but whatever it is, its fun.
i mean changing the exterior isnt too much of a big deal, but engine, suspension and that sort i guess goes more with the “project” car.
which im going to be getting new suspension within the next 2 months and boosting hopefuly by the end of this year.
