Things are progressing, albiet slowly. Logistics is a big issue when you have nearly every midwest car club wanting to use the track as well as coordinating with potential sponsors. Have a little faith people. I am 100% committed to getting this done.

I know i’ve been MIA. Almost lost my job, docs thought dad had cancer, turned out ok, but now he needs hip replacement, gf moved in, car is being stupid, small money issue, etc etc. kinda when it rains it pours. i’m on it though. it’ll all turn out ok.

Nice to hear everythings ok with ur dad cancer suxx my mom just got diagnosed with it. still down for this meet lets get it done. if ever theres anything we can do to help let us kno. driving from montreal canada to kansas will b sick, cant wait although the teg will be on a trailer. the longer u take the better man, i need time to get her runnin properly lol. silchuki and i have some nice builds goin were hopping to b done in time.

That drive is insane. I’ve driven from here to Montreal. I think it took us like 24+ hours or so.
im workin a good 5-8 hours a night getting this beast ready for this i cannot waitt
I’m in for a 10 hour drive as long as I can schedule it around my work. A national G2 meet would be badass and I hope we can make it happen
Man I’m reallllly hoping this goes through. I’ll need someone to drive my other db2 and my db1 down too… lol! (Only one of the 3 is getting tracked. The other 2 are dd’s)
We should try to get a tally of who all would like to come and try to get some donations in for reserving the track for a specific date. Also to make sure they don’t chicken out on the drive! 
Lol i drove a gsr with quite a few mods all the way from Arkansas to Colorado after I bought it. If I can drive a completely unfamiliar teg with some some-what serious mods that far yall can make it. (Trust me I was nervous. You shouldn’t be as nervous if you’ve owned the car for more than a week or two.)
If you’re really nervous about the drive go through the “You know you drive a da when…” thread and get an extra of any critical things that would make the car undrivable. lol

I lost my job on monday.
everything is on hold for a bit but i am still going to try to get this thing going. it may not be exactly when i originally planned but i will keep you posted.
