Are you refering to installing the 92-93 taillights on the 90-91? Not sure if you are, but it is a direct swap.
Trunk conversion is only required for 4 door integras.
ok my question came out as if i was asking me self it, no, what i mean by anybody having amber lights by doing it them selves is, i saw a picture of a 92 teg with red inplace of where the amber usually is, and i just wanted to know if anybody have seen a 90-91 teg do the same but with amber-instead of white. then i wouldnt have to do the trunk conversion, because i do have a four door…
Oh okay, well I would guess that by taking the cover off just like you would with headlights (using 1 of these methods…heat gun, baking, etc.) and then using amber transparent paint such as:
, and painting the white piece amber.

thats the exact look i want, thanks man. way better than going through the trouble of finding a new trunk and taillight just to have the amber look…

If you need a spare set to test them on, I have a spare set of 90-91 sedan tails in the garage.

They’re not regular meets. It’s mainly a few guys from beyond.ca that get together. The group has died off significantly as a lot of the guys have moved on to other things and cars. As for this Saturday, we haven’t even set a time or place yet. Usually we just meet up on the upper level parkade at the back of Chinook Mall and go from there.
