about to buy an exhaust

as the title says in about to buy an exhaust from turbog2teg311. it is the hks hiper exhaust. full catback. his car was a 92. mine is a 91. will it fit with no problem?? i know that in order to put a 90-91 hks exhaust that you would need an extension. but what about vice versa??
and yes i searched

I think its the other way around, 92-93 need the extension.

i kno that the 92-93 needs the extension to put on the 90-91 exhaust but what about the 92-93 exhaust being put on a 90-91.

or is it that the kit for a 92-93 essentially the 90-91 kit bwith the extension included??
