About to red out Tails.

trust me i didnt mask my vents off and you cant even tell. they definatly dont look brownish red or w/e you said. plus its not like my reverse lights dont work. i didnt disconnect them or anything. the paint is transparent and shows lights through it just fine. only difference now is the reverse light is red instead of white. so people can still see them

I’m guessing mine have been disconnected because I check the fuse box under the hood and the 7.5w or whatever watt isn’t blown but I don’t get a reverse light when I’m in reverse. :hmm: I’ll check tomorrow if I can plug that loose connector in the back to anything on the light… but I don’t think there’s anything else back there to connect to besides that one connector for the entire light. THere should be a wire in the main line for the reverse light right?

did you take out the amber part of the light??/ Blk_92_GSR

^^ yup I did them about 3 years ago…no leaks if you bake them just right .lol…

hhmmm just like what mom used to make…i might just have to try that … what temp did you set the oven on… and how long you leave it in

from what I remember it was between 190-200(I think…it’s been so long.anyway I just followed the instructions others have used) do it for about 10 to 15mins at a time and pry them apart slowly, repeat the heating 2 or 3 time’s…HTH

i done mine tonight… turned out nice… i just turned the oven up to 230 and let them sit for bout 15 min… and just pealed them apart… turned out nice

and the black gsr looks fresh… mine is ok…

Eh, I don’t really like the look of the mostly/all red tails…bleh. I like supercleaned much better, and they really do look “clean”

i like the concept of the all red i just haven’t never seen it some out right

“SUPER CLEANED” and sanded…willing to trade for some 92-93 tails!

^ill trade you for my 93 taillights. let me know whats up. im here in california
