abs and cruise/horn questions

  1. my abs does not work (alb light is on) what would happen if i removed my abs relays?

2)what would happen if i removed my cruise control unit?

  1. i installed my new sparco steering wheel and hooked up my horn corectly but it still wont work- i installed my stock wheel to see if that was the problem but it wouldnt work with the stock one either???

p.s. its an automatic right now but i’m converting it to manual in about 2-3 weeks

  1. If you want to remove your ABS properly (if it doesn’t work you may as well take it right out and take off some weight at the same time), do a search for a thread on that subject. One guy had a step-by-step description of how to remove the ABS and convert it to the regular braking system. Might even be in teg tips, but I don’t think so…

  2. Your cruise wouldn’t work :slight_smile:

  3. Check the fuses under the hood and the connections on the horns. Sometimes the connectors get corroded and break off. That circuit is also connected to the cruise, so if that’s why you were thinking about removing your cruise control unit, get your horn fixed first and see if that helps your cruise.
