I was wondering if anyone has successfully made a non abs strut bar work on an abs equipped integra. I have been looking for an abs clearing one but I have had no luck and don’t really want to spend an arm and a leg. I’m just wondering if I can unbolt the bracket where the abs system sits and maybe slightly modify it to fit. I used the search for threads but most stuff is pretty old or doesn’t really answer my question.
I bought an ultra racing bar last year, because it was marketed as being able to work with my db2. I doubted it but wanted to try anyways. There is no possible way. The whole ABS unit is in the way, not just the bracket. At least with that style bar.
I just deleted my abs so now my neuspeed bar fits.
I have heard the Neuspeed fit without deleting it. I deleted the ABS on my DB2 so I wouldn’t be able to try out my three point bar with it but from what I have heard, the Password JDM three point that I have will clear ABS.
I have heard a lot of conflicting information regarding the Neuspeed bar… As for the PW JDM 3 point, I was told by a couple of their reps that it does. Not a bad option there…
the password jdm bar is nice no doubt, it’s just very out of my price range for this sort of thing.
Blake93da, I didn’t see until now that we are neighbors. I am down in McDonough if you happen to be in this area and want to see if my three point bar will fit for you.
That might be a possibility, yeah I don’t know too many people around here with da’s to bounce questions off of.
Yeah I am just a few counties away. I have several friends in the area with DAs.
I have a non abs strut bar on my teg with abs :dance: I will take pictures and post them later tonight when I get home its fairly simple to do you just need a little elbow grease and determination, took me about an hour to figure it out! Is this something yall would wanna see a write up on?
