I am going to do an abs delete. I can keep my brake booster and master cylinder correct? I have the 40 40prop valve and thats all I need right? I will be cuttibg my lines and extending if needed. Am I missing any thing?
Things I have:
Prop valve
Brakeline cutter
Tube bending tool
Flareing tool
Yes, you keep your stock booster and master cylinder. You can swap to the non-abs parts if you like, but i don’t think it’s worth the time or money. Plus, if you plan on running larger brakes at some point you’ll benefit from having the larger (1") ABS master cylinder.
Parts you will need:
prop valve
brake hard lines from a non-abs car (just the ones that run across the firewall and between the front brakes, you do not need the long ones that go to the rear brakes thru the firewall)
your old brake lines will be used to create some extension pieces and you’ll need one fitting for the master cylinder
All of this has been covered in the huge ABS conversion thread. I wouldn’t suggest using your old brake lines and trying to modify them to fit, I don’t see it being very likely you could bend them in a fashion which won’t look ghetto as hell.

But I dont NEED to change my firewall brake lines right? Just cutt and extend them.
I suppose it’s possible to cut/extend them, but it’s also possible to delete your hardlines and replace all of them with braided lines. Are either of those a good idea? Maybe, maybe not, that’s up to you. IMO, they’re both horrible ideas. Cutting/extending over-complicates the issue. It’s a LOT more work and a lot more connection points which could fail and leak.
The arrows are pointing to the two lines that need to be made, since the abs unit is not there so you would need to have these lines in order to extend the proportion valve to the that piece on the firewall (don’t know what that’s called) Hope you get the picture now
You already have that prop valve if you are referring to the one located at the firewall. The only additional prop valve you need is the 40/40 as mentioned above.
A prop valve going into another prop valve. Scratching my head. Hmmm I don’t have another one. When I did mine I just used these connectors. Which I really don’t like these connectors I’m using. I want to do em over again.
