ABS help!..

i bought a 90 teg with an b16 swap…the only problem was the abs light was on…what can be possibly wrong? do i need to change my brake pads, cause i herd that when 2nd gen tegs brake pads are worn out theres a magnet that sets of the abs light…is that true? what do i have to do…thanks everyone…=)

have you checked the fluid in the ABS resevoir? there’s an abs computer with a light that tells you what’s wrong, but the fluid it even easier to check. it’s worth a shot.

thanks for the help man i appreciate it…

OH also does the light just come on or does it come on after you hit 10mph?? Might also have something to do with your ebrake, it might be on slightly causing the abs to turn off (light comes on).

What is b-series saying? My light somes on after 10 mph too. Is hey saying that a fuse was completely missing and the were 3 sockets for it and he just replaced that fuse?

Yes…check under the hood passenger side fuse box there should be 3 i think 15a fuses labled ALB (anti lock brake)…that is a good place to start if not make sure your e brake is down all the way.
