so i was fiddling around with the ac switch today and i think i accidently shorted something out, when i turned my car on the abs light stays on, i checked the 3 fuses under the hood and they all seem ok. anyone know what it could be? is there a fuse on the inside of the car i missed? please help x.x thanks!
Your ABS control unit will display a code to tell you what is wrong, you must access the control unit, remove the cover to see the LED, turn on the ign., [do not start the car] in 10sec. the LED will blink, [1-7 times, main code] then pause for a sec. and blink again, [0-8 times, sub code] then a 5sec. pause, the unit can store up to 3 trouble codes.

No, it is the cover on the ABS control unit, behind trim on the right side next to rear seat on a 2 door and in the trunk if the 4 door. 94
My abs light is always on too. I was told it’s a bad speed sensor. I am just gonna rip the ABS unit out anyhow, so I’m not concerned…
i have a code 1 and cant figure out why, i know it has something to do with the pump running too long and not building preasure but thats about as far as my knowledge of abs goes

Noo you fool. Fcm is great help. Sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead. However, I would like to properly learn how to diag this code since there seems to be a lot of commotion about it.
