I’m going to be replacing my ABS Modulator and I was curious if there was a way to bleed the system/modulator with somewhat limited tools? I don’t have much in the way of vacuum pumps or anything like that but I do have the tools to at least change out the unit. I should try to do more research but can only find newer vehicles/different modulator models at the moment. I have a mechanic literally across the street but am wanting to save him time and me money as I’m going to have him work on my a/c. My other idea and question is that if I change out the modulator is there a way to bypass the system to drive about 500 feet to have the mech. bleed the system? Or would that much driving and any air in system affect the system in a negative way? Side note, there looks as to be clean fluid still in the used ABS Modulator I purchased, I would think there would be some air in the lines as they have been cut to remove the unit from the previous vehicle.
