ABS removed- what do with with the wiring?

while the engine is out of the car, i removed the ABS. it wasn’t bad at all, except for the brake fluid dripping on my painted floor. my question is, for those who have removed your ABS, what did you do with all the connectors now ‘freeballin’ in the engine bay? i thought about tucking the main harness in the fender and zip-tying off the unused connectors. even though it’s more work, it seems like undoing the harness and pulling the unused wiring is the way to go.

lol go for it… id pull mine but im too lazy…

I pulled most of my wiring out. Don’t forget the controller on the right side of the car as well in case you haven’t pulled that out already.

just do a wiretuck and hide all those wires

i’m not wanting to pull the harness and peel, it trust me. i just want to do it right. might as well- the car’s not going anywhere.

i haven’t removed the abs module. i still have to take that panel off and i just haven’t gotten that far. the other side is out, only because i took the antenna out. i’m running out of shelf space for all the stuff i’ve taken off the car. time to get another set of shelves.

i’m thinking i may tuck the harness after i pull the unneeded abs garbage, only for the fact that if i don’t, one of those damn connectors is going to start rattling in the fender and drive me up the freakin wall.

if you have the time do it.

I pulled my abs, and the abs wiring, then while i was at it tucked the pass wiring harness.

is the wiring harness on the passenger fender connected to the dash harness just inside the firewall? i don’t have the dash apart yet, but i’m just trying to get an idea of how to get the psgr side harness out of the car.

This might be a dumb question, but I started a thread asking how to do this and no one responded. I didnt find anything when I searched for it either. But, What is all involved in removing the abs? Do you just take out the main unit under the hood? Do you have to change the proportioning valve? I would greatly appreciate any help. Even if anyone can guide me to a link. Thanks.

this is where i got my info from, but they don’t mention much about removing the wiring.

my engine is out of the car, so i am sure it’s a lot easier, but people have done it with it in the car.
