Does anyone know the part number for this? Is it still available from Honda/Acura? In case you don’t know what I’m talking about, its a white duct that goes between the heater blower motor assembly and the heater core. It replaces the AC evaporator on AC equipped cars.
My buddy has deleted his AC and wants to get rid of the big black box as well… So, do you know the part number or possibly where I can find one?
afaik its been discontinued… i can get you the part number though…
heel toe auto sells the one for the CRX and i’ve been wondering and asking around to see if that one fits… and i believe its still available to order through the dealership.

thats why i said its discontinued. you can still view the picture of it if you go under “heater blower” but it wont have the p/n.
I’m going to give Acura a call tomorrow with that part number and see if I can get it through them.
you guys should check out your local junk yards. i just found one for my car the other day. been looking for a non ac da for a while. i thought that $65 - $70 from the dealership was a little much.
i just called the dealerships in my area and, they all said that they no longer sell them. wow. i called them about this just a few months ago and they still had them.
Trust me I look for a non-AC da everytime I go, however they aren’t too common in my area (Midwest). if you come across one, please snag it for me…

yeah i was diging through some of the differtent years and models and none of them had a price for that.

they aren’t very common in my area too, i guess. i’ve been looking for a non ac da for almost a year now. i guess i was just lucky to find one in the yards that day. i’ll keep a look out for one though.
