The p/o was involved in an accident with the car but failed to tell me when i bought it…i happend to see the radiator support was bent but didnt realize that it was bent more underneath Here are some pics:
Looking down at the bumper mount:
Looking at where the headlight would be on the drivers side:
tried to install a new hood the other day and couldnt get it to latch (probably since the rad support is FUBAR) but it did line up well and the gaps were good…ANY OPINIONS, SUGGESTIONS
I used a come-along and a chain to pull my old radiator support closer to the shape it was supposed to be. I hooked one end around a concrete footing for a light pole and the other end around the radiator support(with my e-brake fully pulled), and then just tightened it up until it was pulled out far enough. I had to hammer it to flatten out some of the mounting points for the bumper. Hope that helps.
idk… after a car has been in a crash n the frame is bent… because it is meant to bend in certain places to save drivers life… if car gets in another crash the crush zone will fail n the accident will be at least double worst.
