hi just wondering what everyone thinks of ACL bearings. im rebuilding my b20 and want some reliable internals. also where to buy them and what prices are good?

i found these and it seems like a pretty reasonable price:shrug:

i have always used honda OEM bearings in all of my motors and never had any problems, although i have heard of some horror stories with acl bearings, breaking down under high boost or high rpm conditions.

I have ACL and OEM bearings in my engine - long story. They are fine to get if your not going too extreme with the engine.

All the race motors i’ve seen are done with Honda Oem bearings, since acl’s i believe come in one clearence or size.

The ACL come in two sizes, normal (which is around the equivalent of the green honda oem bearing) or in oversized. I had to buy the oversize for my car and it works good for me.

I personally think ACL bearing are fine for the engine and normal usage (including some sprited).
