i found the part about the shims especially interesting since most people don’t even use them assuming they are worthless.

A good reason to buy oem pads, they come with shims and grease.
No noise, low dust, great braking.

they dont sell just the shims only do they? if you figure shims are worth say 10bucks, and the grease is 2 or 3, that makes the price of oem even better.

haha no, although their R&D is also located right here in torrance and i would jump on the chance after i graduate. :smiley:
