adjustable rear toe links

ok so I took my car in for an alignment and was told that my rear driver side subframe for my toe adjustment was broken, so they either cut the frame and weld a new plate so the bolt can align it as stock or weld a plate over it and use adjustable toe links for the trailing arm.

I was going to let them source everything but the guy said his go to shop for parts wanted $395 for a set and he rather me get a set on my own to keep cost down.
my issue is that I cant find a legit set that has nothing to do with camber. Most sets i find say rear camber/toe adjustment kit. Has anyone here ever replaced this on their car and any feed back.

what I need is someone to help point out a kit that they have on and happy with, or atleast any feedback of any kind.

here is a pic of a SPC link on some car…

i have that exact same SPC toe kit or its called the compensator arm adjuster, and its awesome love the quality, and its all spherical bushings so you wouldnt have to worry about anything.

ive never replaced this but Tire rack apparently has the part you need. heres the link: http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/suspension.jsp?make=SPC&model=Honda%2FAcura+Toe+Adjuster+2&group=Honda%2FAcura+Toe+Adjuster+2&partNum=SPC69450&autoMake=Acura&autoModel=Integra&autoYear=1992&autoModClar=

could someone explain the difference between the 2 types of rear toe arms http://www.spcperformance.com/component/spc/?task=part_description&pid=69250&region=USA&make=Acura&model=Integra&year=1990±+1993&from=USAFrom&to=USATo and http://www.spcperformance.com/component/spc/?task=part_description&pid=69450&region=USA&make=Acura&model=Integra&year=1990±+1993&from=USAFrom&to=USATois one better than the other and what are you guys running rear toe adjuster wise on your tegs. Thanks in advance

Why not just go to the junkyard and get the stock piece. Much cheaper alternative. If you need to know how to connect the stock compensator arm back onto the adjuster nut, let me know.

I have a DIY and also pics.

the last one is adjustable from both ends so you have more room to play with, the specs do say they have the same range so it comes down to what fits our cars better…

oh and Its not the toe link it self that broke, its the adjustable braket and it needs to be cut out. I have to cut out another from a donore and weld it on my chassy, and since its not going to be 100% straight i need the adjustable links to have a alignment specs dialed in correctly…

I have the K sport adjustable toe arms on my car which are similar to the second SPC kit you are looking at that is adjustable at both ends. If I were to do it over again I never have bought them. I would have just got OEM compensator arms because the K Sport ones are impossible to adjust. On the end that goes to the subframe it is extremely hard to get a wrench in to adjust them. The SPC arms look a lot smaller in diameter so might not be as bad but I think that’s why SPC made that other kit with the bracket. Way easier to adjust. I would either get those or just get stock arms. Even put prothane bushings in them if you want to get carried away. As long as the shop welds it up close I don’t see how you would run out of adjustment.

buy the SPC…ones its the best I have them on my car and adjusting toe is simple as hell

which spc ones the ones with spherical joints or the bracket type one? Thanks in advance

I thought I read a post in here some were that someone to out the back seat cut a hole were the comp. arm mounts to a put a new bolt in I may be wrong but it worth the search

ill have to search for it cuz its starting to make alote of noise on bumps and turns…

I haev those red ones with spherical joints…rust me buy them you will be happy and everything is anodized so it wont rust

You can cut into the rear floor/area under the seat and put that adjustable nut back on the track.

thanks!!!

Yea, I have to do the same thing to my drivers side. Still haven’t decided whether to go with the SPC links or factory compensator arms.

SPC arm 69450 has spherical pivots, and 69250 has rubber bushing pivots. Spherical has tighter tolerances since its metal, and will be better for a track car. The downside is see how the metal pivot is exposed to water and sand? Those metal joints will eventually wear out and you’ll develop play.
I had the black 250’s in my car and they were fine. No one sees under there anyway, so the bling is kinda pointless.

Not sure which part you broke but here’s what I did when the adjuster nut came off the compensator arm. Start on post #23, 2nd page. Hope this helps.
