Ok well i tried searching but nothing turned up… if any of this has been discused im sorry and would like to be steered in the right direction if not maybe we can get a good thread goin for the noobs just gettin in to dragracing …
As the title says im planin on takein my car to a local test & tune nite to get some base line #`s… this will be my first time ever racing at a track
What advice/tips do you guys have for a first timer…
what to bring, what to expect at the track, preping the car
First make sure to check your oil and make sure everything is in good running order! Then if your like me and have a set of rims with expensive low profile tires you don’t wanna put a bunch of wear on see if you can pick up a set of rims and tires just for the track. (Only need them for the front) If your not looking for slicks or anything too great to handle a lot of power just snag something from a junk yard and play around with low air pressure in them. Other then that I’d say have fun and don’t expect to go out and put everyone to shame.
thanks for the info… as for tryin to put anyone to shame thats why im goin on a test & tune nite noone is really racein doubt i can really beat anyone with a basicly stock car lol
