Ok, looking at the instructions for installing my ram intake and it says empty a gallon of coolent… are u kiding me…? is this really nessasary to do the intall?

Everything i’ve read about installing intakes says just bolt off, bolt on no problem…(i did search the forum) i’m confused why i would have to empty a gallon of coolent…

short or cold air? its not necessary.

Its a short ram intake… i didn’t think it was necessary to do, but those instructions say do it… F dat…

Its odd b/c i installed a (aem) CAI into a 01 Civic and it didn’t say do that… but thanks for the clear up.
